Hydrangea macrophylla 'Ramars'

Cityline® Mars Hydrangea is a dwarf compact shrub producing bold ball-shaped, bi-color flowers of hot pink, or lavender blue, and white that cover the plant; ideal for the shrub border or foundation garden; perfect for patio containers; soil pH affects bloom color.

Cityline® Mars Hydrangea features bold balls of hot pink flowers with white overtones at the ends of the branches from early summer to late fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has forest green foliage throughout the season. The glossy pointy leaves do not develop any appreciable fall colour.

Prefers moist, well-drained soils. Flourishes in coastal settings. Protect from harsh, prolonged sunlight in hot, arid regions. Soil affects bloom color. Prune after flowering. Protect over winter in North. Apply fertilizer in spring.

Great landscape plant adds a dash of bright color. Good in groupings or masses, in a perennial or shrub borders, as a specimen, screen or hedge. Use in mixed containers, containers, and as a cut flower.

Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden.
