Taking care of a Miss Kim lilac tree is actually quite easy. Simply plant it somewhere with well draining soil and access to a fair amount of sun and a bit of shade. Make sure you plant it where it can be admired. This is no "back corner side yard" plant. It is perfect as a main feature in a cottage garden bed or even an accent plant in your border. This tree is especially eye-popping in containers as a standard topiary under-planted with ivies, annuals or grasses!

Thrives in rich, neutral to slightly alkaline, well-drained soils. Needs good air circulation. Water deeply, regularly during first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Supplement water before spring bloom, in absence of rainfall or snow melt. Fertilize in early spring. Prune promptly after flowering.

Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception.

NOTE: Some flowers and plants may be harmful or poisonous to people or pets if touched or ingested. If you require more information before placing an order, please let us know in advance.
