'Captain Kirk' is a sport of 'Gold Standard' that features wider dark green margins and thicker leaves. Leaves emerge in spring with bright gold centers surrounded by a contrasting dark green margin. The gold center lightens as the season progresses and can even be white if grown in more sun. Pale lavender flowers in summer.
Moderate growth rate.
Attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
