Fruit Punch® Cranberry Cocktail Pinks has masses of beautiful double cherry red frilly flowers with hot pink overtones at the ends of the stems from early summer to early fall, which are most effective when planted in groupings. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its attractive narrow leaves remain grayish green in colour with hints of powder blue throughout the year.
Colorful, carnation-like double blooms of hot reddish-pink, above mounds of fine blue-green foliage; great for flower arrangements; deadhead to rebloom; pair up with summer blooming perennials and annuals to time a continued flower display.

Deer resistant, low maintenance and drought tolerant, attracts butterflies, fragrant, cute cut flower—what more could one want in a perennial? The Dianthus FRUIT PUNCH® series delivers all that and more in your choice of four colors. Double flowers stand like mini carnations atop a short mound of evergreen foliage in early summer. A quick shearing after flowering will encourage them to rebloom in early fall. Dianthus is just the right size to edge the front of the sunny border and use in combination containers. Fruit Punch® Cranberry Cocktail Pinks is a fine choice for the garden, but it is also a good selection for planting in outdoor pots and containers. It is often used as a 'filler' in the 'spiller-thriller-filler' container combination, providing a mass of flowers and foliage against which the thriller plants stand out. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception. NOTE: Some flowers and plants may be harmful or poisonous to people or pets if touched or ingested. If you require more information before placing an order, please let us know in advance. |
