Sombrero® Adobe Orange Coneflower has masses of beautiful lightly-scented orange daisy flowers with coppery-bronze eyes at the ends of the stems from mid summer to early fall, which are most effective when planted in groupings. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its pointy leaves remain dark green in colour throughout the season.
Sombrero® Adobe Orange has 2½-3", intense orange flowers will make other Echinacea pale in comparison, with a matching orange cone that really makes the color pop. Dark green foliage is completely covered with flowers. One of the best orange Echinacea to date.

Praised for their cheerful brightly colored flowers, coneflowers are a mainstay in today's garden. Be sure to leave some spent blooms on the plants in the fall because their seeds provide winter food for finches and other birds. The dried seed heads also provide architectural interest in the winter. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception.
