Castle Wall® holly is a regal accent for your landscape! Dark glossy leaves, superior vigor and branching make it a superior choice over other varieties. Narrow habit makes it ideal for hedges, foundation plantings, or even as a dramatic specimen. Castle Wall® holly is a male variety that will pollinate Castle Spire® and Castle Keep® holly, but it does not produce fruit itself.

Spread: 3-5 ft |
Flower Colour: White Shades |
Plant where a formal, narrow columnar effect is desired. Growth habit is quite similar to a Hicks yew, and it can be used in the same way, making a great hedge, or foundation plant. Very adaptable; thrives even in wet, boggy soils, both light and heavy. Fertilize in early spring with a slow release fertilizer specialized for trees and shrubs. Prune after flowering. Protect from harsh winter wind in northern zones. Castle Wall® is a male pollinator for Castle Spire® and Castle Keep® hollies. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception. NOTE: Some flowers and plants may be harmful or poisonous to people or pets if touched or ingested. If you require more information before placing an order, please let us know in advance. |
