Pink Peace Rose features showy fragrant pink flowers with white edges at the ends of the branches from late spring to mid fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has dark green deciduous foliage. The glossy oval compound leaves do not develop any appreciable fall colour. The fruits are showy red hips displayed in late fall.
An offspring of the famous Peace rose, this hybrid has beautiful full pink blooms with a very fine white edging; a large bush rose that grows into a sturdy upright plant with long stems excellent for cutting; also has a noteworthy sweet fragrance.

Pink Peace Rose should only be grown in full sunlight. It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Prune annually in early spring to promote vigorous new growth. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception.
