Tahitian Sunset Rose features showy fragrant peach flowers with pink overtones and yellow centers at the ends of the branches from early summer to early fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has attractive dark green deciduous foliage which emerges red in spring. The glossy oval compound leaves are highly ornamental and turn yellow in fall.
A little slice of paradise; this brightly-hued hybrid tea features splendid blossoms starting from high centered orange yellow buds and open to a peachy-pink with yellow highlights; it will make a strong focal point in the garden or along borders.

Tahitian Sunset Rose should only be grown in full sunlight. It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Prune annually in early spring to promote vigorous new growth. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception.
