Daub's Frosted Juniper is a dwarf conifer which is primarily valued in the garden for its broadly spreading habit of growth. It has attractive yellow-tipped bluish-green foliage which emerges chartreuse in spring. The scale-like sprays of foliage are highly ornamental and remain bluish-green throughout the winter.
A richly colorful wide-spreading evergreen shrub featuring attractive blue-green foliage that emerges with a yellowish tint on pendulous branch tips, an extremely effective combination; very adaptable, makes a wonderful groundcover for a splash of color.

Daub's Frosted Juniper should only be grown in full sunlight. It is very adaptable to both dry and moist growing conditions, but will not tolerate any standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. Highly adaptable and easy to grow in most well-drained soils; avoid overly wet conditions. Water deeply, regularly during first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Once established, reduce frequency; tolerates mild drought. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception.
