Double Knock Out® Rose is smothered in stunning lightly-scented cherry red flowers at the ends of the branches from late spring to early fall, which emerge from distinctive ruby-red flower buds. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has attractive dark green foliage which emerges burgundy in spring. The glossy oval compound leaves are highly ornamental and turn an outstanding deep purple in the fall.

Thrives in enriched, loamy, well-drained soil. Water deeply, regularly in first growing season to establish root system; avoid overhead watering. Feed before new growth begins in spring; repeat mid-season. Mulch to keep roots cool. Prune in early spring after threat of frost is gone to promote vigorous new growth. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception.
