Christina Miniature Blue Spruce is a stunning, very slow growing miniature variety displays soft yellow-green new growth above fine textured, steel-blue mature needles; maintains its blue color year round on a tight, mounded form; an eye catching accent for small garden spaces.
Christina Miniature Blue Spruce has attractive steel blue foliage which emerges chartreuse in spring. The small needles are highly ornamental and remain steel blue throughout the winter.

Christina Miniature Blue Spruce will grow to be about 18 inches tall at maturity, with a spread of 18 inches. It has a low canopy. It grows at a slow rate. Christina Miniature Blue Spruce should only be grown in full sunlight. It is very adaptable to both dry and moist growing conditions, but will not tolerate any standing water. It is considered to be drought-tolerant, and thus makes an ideal choice for a low-water garden or xeriscape application. It is not particular as to soil type or pH, and is able to handle environmental salt. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception.
