Sedum 'Lime Twister' | USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Lime Twister Stonecrop is covered in stunning clusters of rose flowers at the ends of the stems from late summer to mid fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its attractive succulent round leaves emerge yellow in spring, turning bluish-green in colour with distinctive creamy white edges throughout the season.
A compact groundcover stonecrop with rose-pink flowers held atop of bluish-green succulent foliage dramatically edged in cream; a drought-tolerant perennial that does best in poor soils, an excellent choice for late summer color in the garden border.

Thrives in average to very lean, well-drained soils. Shelter from harsh afternoon exposures in hot summer regions. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system; reduce frequency, once established. For a tidy appearance, remove old, faded foliage before new leaves emerge. Lime Twister Stonecrop is a fine choice for the garden, but it is also a good selection for planting in outdoor pots and containers. Because of its spreading habit of growth, it is ideally suited for use as a 'spiller' in the 'spiller-thriller-filler' container combination; plant it near the edges where it can spill gracefully over the pot. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception. NOTE: Some flowers and plants may be harmful or poisonous to people or pets if touched or ingested. If you require more information before placing an order, please let us know in advance.
