Flower Carpet Appleblossom Rose features showy shell pink flowers with gold eyes at the ends of the branches from late spring to early fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has green deciduous foliage. The glossy oval compound leaves do not develop any appreciable fall colour.
This variety is a compact spreading groundcover rose producing cupped to flat semi-double pink flowers above disease resistant, green glossy leaves; its spreading habit makes it perfect as a full sun groundcover foundation planting.

Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Feed regularly during the growing season with a Rose or general purpose fertilizer. Prune annually to shape and promote vigorous new growth. This Rose should only be grown in full sunlight. It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception.
