Super-sized mophead blooms!
Let’s Dance Big Easy® reblooming Hydrangea bursts on to the floor with oversized mophead blooms that emerge green, then turn pink, and often turning green again. Soil pH will affect bloom color, with purple or blue tones in more acidic soil. Its compact habit reaches a tidy 2-3’, so pruning isn’t a problem. Each plant is a real workhorse: the Let’s Dance series sets buds on old wood like traditional bigleaf hydrangeas and again on new wood, giving a second flush of blooms.

Great landscape plant adds a dash of bright color to gardens. Good in groupings or masses, in a perennial or shrub borders. Can also be used in mixed containers and as a cut flower. Container plants should be planted in the ground in fall. This hydrangea blooms on both old and new wood. Pruning is generally not needed, but it may be trimmed lightly after the early bloom. Best in moist, well-drained soils. Supplemental moisture may be needed in very hot or dry conditions. Fertilize in spring with a controlled release fertilizer. Add aluminum sulfate to the soil to encourage blue flower color. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception. NOTE: Some flowers and plants may be harmful or poisonous to people or pets if touched or ingested. If you require more information before placing an order, please let us know in advance. |
