Nephrolepis obliterata |
USDA Zone: 9-11 |
Unlike the Boston, Dallas, or Fluffy Ruffle ferns, the Kimberly Queen is more compact, tidier, and easier to care for. Its long, almost erect sword-shaped fronds almost never leave a mess. This extremely adaptable fern looks beautiful when hanging on your porch in the summer or in your dining room during the winter.
This fern will enjoy regular mistings and warmer temperatures and will, in turn, clean and filter the air of pollutants and toxins.
This plant is natural indoor air purifier.

More About Kimberly Queen Fern |
Native to Australia, Kimberly Queen Ferns are hardier than other fern varieties and are more resilient to heat, drought, and direct sun. Your Kimberly Queen Fern prefers bright, indirect light, but can survive in the direct sun if it’s watered on a regular basis and the soil remains moist. Allow the top 2-3” of soil to dry out before watering. The fronds of the fern will become pale green when the plant needs water. Crispy brown fronds, especially in the center of the fern, usually indicate overwatering. Your fern prefers slightly higher humidity. Mist the fronds on a regular basis, especially in the winter months when it’s drier inside. For best results, use a general houseplant fertilizer at half strength once every three months. Never feed a fern when the soil is dry, it will burn the fronds. Regularly remove any dead fronds from the plant to encourage healthy, rich, and green growth. Make sure your Kimberly Queen Fern is not in a drafty area in your home or office. NOTE: Some flowers and plants may be harmful or poisonous to people or pets if touched or ingested.
