Patriot Hosta features dainty spikes of lavender bell-shaped flowers rising above the foliage in mid summer. Its attractive textured heart-shaped leaves remain dark green in colour with distinctive white edges throughout the season.
A lovely variety featuring tall mounds of deep green foliage with wide white margins; lavender flowers appear on tall scapes in midsummer; great for adding color, contrast and texture to shaded beds, borders and containers; low maintenance

Hostas are exceedingly popular perennials in today's gardens due to their versatility in the landscape. Their subtle colors, tall flower scapes, and broad, coarse leaves fill a niche in garden designs that few other plants can achieve. Their large leaves provide excellent coverage for dying bulb foliage. Hostas also grow well in city environments where the air may be polluted by car exhaust, etc. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected.
