Wedding Party® True Love Hellebore features showy nodding double burgundy cup-shaped flowers with violet overtones and chartreuse eyes at the ends of the stems from late winter to early spring. Its glossy oval compound leaves remain green in colour throughout the year.
This attractive variety produces vigorous mounds of thick evergreen leaves; flower stalks, held occasionally above the foliage bear showy maroon red to violet flowers with yellow-green centers; an outstanding selection for shade gardens.

The Lenten Rose is an easy spring blooming perennial for the shady woodland garden. This selection is part of the WEDDING PARTY™ Series from Walters Gardens, Inc. hybridizer Hans Hansen selected for vigour, showy floral displays with a large number of blossoms per plant and rich flower colours. Plants produce bushy clumps of thick, leathery evergreen leaves. Flower stalks appear in early spring, bearing showy cup-shaped blooms. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception.
