Magic Show® Wizard of Ahhs Speedwell has masses of beautiful spikes of blue flowers with violet overtones rising above the foliage from early to mid summer, which are most effective when planted in groupings. Its glossy narrow leaves remain forest green in colour throughout the season.
Extremely easy to grow and virtually maintenance-free; thick spikes of violet-blue flowers massed above dark green glossy foliage; makes an ideal garden accent, great in rock gardens or combination containers.

Veronica is highly valued for its ease of growth and long bloom time. The spiky flowers are an excellent contrast to the more common rounded flower shapes like Shasta Daisies, Coneflower, and Black Eyed Susans. Expect bees to be buzzing about this plant when in bloom. Magic Show® Wizard of Ahhs Speedwell is a fine choice for the garden, but it is also a good selection for planting in outdoor pots and containers. It is often used as a 'filler' in the 'spiller-thriller-filler' container combination, providing a mass of flowers against which the larger thriller plants stand out. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception.
