Rosa 'Radral' | USDA Zone: 5-9 |
Coral Knock Out® Rose is smothered in stunning lightly-scented orange flowers at the ends of the branches from late spring to mid fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has attractive dark green deciduous foliage which emerges coppery-bronze in spring. The glossy oval compound leaves are highly ornamental but do not develop any appreciable fall colour. The spiny brick red bark adds an interesting dimension to the landscape.
One of the most popular roses in the world today, primarily due to its low maintenance, superior disease resistance and incredibly long period of bloom, with seemingly endless brick orange to coral flowers; all roses need full sun and well-drained soil.

Coral Knock Out® Rose should only be grown in full sunlight. It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. It is somewhat tolerant of urban pollution. Coral Knock Out® Rose makes a fine choice for the outdoor landscape, but it is also well-suited for use in outdoor pots and containers. With its upright habit of growth, it is best suited for use as a 'thriller' in the 'spiller-thriller-filler' container combination; plant it near the center of the pot, surrounded by smaller plants and those that spill over the edges. It is even sizeable enough that it can be grown alone in a suitable container. Note that when grown in a container, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag - this is to be expected. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent waterings than they would in the yard or garden. Be aware that in our climate, most plants cannot be expected to survive the winter if left in containers outdoors, and this plant is no exception. NOTE: Some flowers and plants may be harmful or poisonous to people or pets if touched or ingested. If you require more information before placing an order, please let us know in advance. |
